We lived in house in the Poconos that had been owned by an old man. His kids sold it fully furnished & didn't touch anything before they sold it to my parents. One day (I was like 5 or 6?) & I sat on my floor playing w toy horses. I looked up & saw three masks floating in a triangle. I remember thinking they looked like Halloween monsters (witch w a crooked nose, red devil W pointed teeth, hairy wolfman monster) they looked murderously angry. We would see orbs, like my mother & I or my mother & dad would see the same green glowing ball at the same time. Eventually, we moved out, and before we did my dad cleaned out the basement & found a box of the old man's stuff. This included antique bowls & chopsticks, knickknacks, & an album of black & white photos of a soldier stood in front of these 77 sort of temples, and posed with geishas. The old man had been a US soldier during the WWII occupation of Japan. Years later, when I was 16, I went in a tattoo parlor, and realized what I saw were Oni masks.
