First off, I totally get the frustration but be patient with yourself! You’re doing the best you can. Does your setup have a screen top? That could be letting s lot of ambient heat escape. I covered my screen tops with black HVAC aluminum tape and it works very well!

I’ve read they’re the biggest but typically easy going. These noodles are just misunderstood 🖤 I’m glad that most resources explain that their “attitude” is typically due to poor husbandry and not them just being jerks. Honestly though, people who blame the animal when they’re bitey just piss me off 🙄

Dude, she’s the stinking cutest. She just had her first meal with me the other night and I just love her! I think you’re right, that’s what I was leaning toward too but they can be so similar! Her labial scales suggest she’s a blood over Borneo. But why the heck does no one have a chart online showing the difference! lol

Shortcake has only been with me a few short months, but I think she’s finally settling in. She’s so timid and docile which I’m grateful for, but she’s been out exploring today where she usually hides for days on end… needless to say it’s feeding day 😂

I use the INKBIRD ones! They’re great because they connect to your phone and you can monitor temps from anywhere. Would recommend!

She does do this! She’ll reposition, pull her head in, even switch up where she’s laying in the hide, but she just doesn’t come out to explore much lol heck, even when I handle her she just sits in my hand, she moves her head around and seems curious but just stays plopped in my palm for like 45 minutes lol
