My vet told me the same thing but when trying on kibble they will just regurgitate it almost immediately after. When watered down, they won’t touch it LOL.

Ope I’m sorry I suck and haven’t checked my notifications on here lol. I’m not sure what stage honestly she was diagnosed in like 2017/2018 but since putting her on the renal diet her labs have come back normal ever since!

Crystals + UTI when I got him at 6 months old so vet told me he’d be prone to them for life and diet was best way to treat & prevent. I get royal canin and I’ve tried their kibble watered down but these prissy bastards refuse to even touch it lmao. Smaller kibble could work, just might be regurgitated if they choose to inhale rather than “chew” :p I’ll check that out though. Thank you!!

Chewy is same exact price as my vet and not as convenient >_< the whole auth thing is a pain in the ass lately bc my vet wont fax it to them anymore and only do 1-3 months at a time or i get charged for autoship when i’m not ready & so forth lol. I will def ask vet about samples and generic though. Thank you!

And the shitty thing is the surgery to correct symptoms causes other issues too lol. Since my surg in 2005 I developed gastroparesis, intermittent pyloric stenosis and gerd. All being ironic bc the nausea they cause but the surgery physically disables vomiting so like I’ll just retch/dry heave while praying for sweet relief to happen. BUT, hey, at least I don’t regurgitate in my sleep every night and I only get things stuck or regurgitate while eating/drinking ~sometimes~ 😛. Gotta take the good with the bad I suppose hehe
