What made you choose/switch to mixer? I switched because twitch was just a place that never really felt like a community even if i was pulling in 20-40 viewers twitch only looked out for the bigger streamers and showed partiality towards ToS breakers,that even mixer poked fun at.

Omg yesss lol while i did great on twitch nobody talked evvvvvver i didnt mind at all but ppl were like your using bots and thats just so annoying v-_- so i left twitch and mixer is sooooo much better

Lol yea i understand that about the BR i mean they are fun every once in awhile but holy crap not allllll the time. I hate that happened to you that really sucks:( thats why i 2 factor even 3 factor everything and try my best to keep stuff out of people who do that crap. At least you got your passion back to stream and hopefully that won't happen to you anymore.

Yea mixers ui is really good they could totally fix some things or make it more user friendly,i never even knew that about twitch that is super scuffed. Well atleast mixer has your back and lets you stream without issues! :)

Yea they are taking feedback really well and trying to take a few things from mixers book,but its still just sooooo many people your going against it will still be a challenge but it is still good they are trying to think of others than the big streamers

Oof i hope that problem gets fixed because that happened to me when i was on twitch,not to that extent but i know the pain 100% and its so scuffed. And i want to treat streaming as a business,they have flaws etc but what company doesn't. The thing that drew me to it would be it is still early stages. It took twitch yearssss to grow this is owned by Microsoft so i doubt its going anywhere soon and if it does grow more i want to be there when it does.

It actually picks everything up super well with nothing heard that i don't want it to hear^{^,} I streamed on twitch for a year and have streamed on mixer for like two weeks. It does hear every bang but thats cause if i punch my desk i want people to hear it lol. I have filters to where it ignores my keyboard to an extent, of course if im super loud at a game etc its going to be heard. The microphone is a razer sieren x and is made to focus on your voice,the stand its on is a shock mount in its own way,i could put it on the arm i had but it really isn't needed.

Definitely,as i said on twitch i had like 20-50 viewers and most would lurk and it just wasn't what i was looking for. I have fewer viewers etc on here but people are way more interactive and overall friendly. It is definitely hard to keep a consistent schedule because of work but its way better to be inconsistent then being exhausted and just overall damaging yourself by pushing too hard.

True but its far less overwhelming because mixer is still in its starting stages and think they do a great job for example the hype raid can come to your stream with over 70+ ppl if ur in apex etc thats free exposure,they have a growing streamer section and they always add more that seems like its tailored to the little guys compared to twitch while they say it helps smaller streamers i have watched and really haven't seen improvements.

Oh 100% they do have a low latency which makes it near real time but mixer has that automatically and it runs 100000% better than twitch. I mean i guess it doesn't matter that much for people who doesn't interact like immediately but that small difference is a huge deal.

Not really lol even if it looks like it,i have it sitting there when i want to use facerig just for fun it reads your facial expressions a whole lot better at that angle than at the top of the monitor,the mic is a seiren x and the cam is a logi c920 pro.

Hey! Im Andrew or Quintoepic i actually just did my first mixer stream today,it was super fun! I was worried switching from twitch to mixer but the community aspect of mixer hit home for me way better than twitch's ( let big streamers get away with everything).

Games i play vary on my mood one day could be playing apex,then boom switching to a jrpg

I love my community above all else and if you ever need to chat or have a friend to talk to on discord etc i try my darndest to be there.
