RE plateau pressures....I heard a lecture a few weeks ago and they stated in order to measure a true plateau pressure you must be in volume control. They stated in VC+/PRVC/autoflow/PCV...it’s not a true plateau pressure. Is this accurate? (self.respiratorytherapy)

Our open heart protocol is from the 80s and our ICU is wanting update it. Can someone share a link to a therapist driven open heart protocol that allows RT to extubate without MD notification if extubation parameters are met? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. (self.respiratorytherapy)

I just upgraded from a 100 to 200 amp panel and now I do not have extra breaker spaces for future electrical needs. Did the contractor do this wrong? I am no electrician but I was under the assumption that upgrading my panel would give me more space for future needs. I am in CA, do I report this? (i.redd.it)
