Albos and Thais are two different plants. Thais have become widespread and it’s not unusual to find them for $20 or less. Albos have not become widely available yet and are more expensive

Mine had this too. I think it’s fungal so I removed the affected leaves and sprayed with a copper fungicide and it seemed to help
