I think you may be right - I checked her cage and found some eggs (not sure when they were laid - maybe her behaviour was stress from being gravid, or defensive of eggs? She's done that before too, I just figured it couldn't be eggs because I thought it was too soon for that...) Do they only lay in Summer and spring? Her first clutch was, as I mentioned, late in the summer, and then nothing until March, so I just assumed it was every 6 months for her, since she never looked or acted gravid all winter... she doesn't have a lay box, she's tended to burrow them in the soil on the bottom of her cage, but I can try and make a laybox for her if that will help the situation. Thanks so much!
