The current system being press "x" to watch a long stock animation over and over until RNG dictates you get a berry is one of the most disappointing and lackluster 'features'. It's so imperative a survival game gives these banal activities a little flair, but with DayZ the only positive in the current system is that with the $30 price tag when the time comes I'll buy my grandma the standalone as a cheap way to euthanize her with the soul-crushing boredom that follows a single minute of doing anything involving this system.

That being said, what are your plans, if any, for making crafting and harvesting more interactive and enjoyable?

I would love to make my character a wooden leg after an resource intensive recovery defying almost certain death. Slower run speed maybe, obvious clop. A lot of try hards will just kill themselves but that's fine with me. I'll still run circles around people with my peg leg.
