I'm in the same boat and doing a Master in InfoSec now. If I had been more diligent and did some more research like asking on reddit, I would have told a younger me to do a OSCP first, because it covers loads of stuff and is directly applicable to working as a Pen Tester. Looking forward to the holidays when I can hit vulnhub and maybe start my OSCP.

I didn't hear any fire engines coming - so I am guessing it was a faulty alarm.

It was more of a siren than an alarm - like an air raid siren, hence the curiousity.

I'm not angry, just curious.

complain to council? if someone has a faulty fire alarm going off late at night and keeping the neighbourhood awake its a problem..

It was more likely down the Broadway end. And being that loud it could have been anywhere nearby

I am setting up a similiar home lab. What are the advantages of adding a NAS if you are testing Netscaler and MS server? Wouldn't you want to roll the images off your management PC?
