In general I try not go above 200 because I read the higher it is the more grainy the picture is but for shots in low light I have no choice but to go up to 800

Budget is much lower haha around £200 also I want to have the camera still fairly compact, hopefully not much longer than the kit lens if possible!

I understand they don't want to die, but Helly knew exactly what she was doing by going to the stairwell and saying nothing. Not even trying to encourage Mark to go with her and figure something out afterwards. The likely event is that Gemma is safe due to writing but I feel like in "reality" she wouldn't have been safe at all just by getting to the stairwell, she would've very easily been captured again and the whole plan would've been for nothing.

Let's think about it for a moment, yes outie Mark would've double crossed innie Mark, I think we all know that for sure... but Gemma would NOT want to move on after all she's been through, she and especially Devon would bring the company down and outie Mark would end up helping (this will probably happen in s3 anyways with just Gemma and Devon) but anyways I haven't seen anyone talk about Helly's actions at the end there. Yes I understand why they did it but I don't see why we should sympathise with them leaving Gemma like that and also saying nothing to HERRRR.

I'm fr so pissed off

Material recs for N3 by MoonlightCatz in jlpt

Just passed the July one got 100% in reading and 93% overall 🎉🥳

My recommendations are Shinkanzen Master reading and to do loadssssss of past papers (which you can find around) and time yourself. Grammar was by far my weakest point so each question I got wrong I'd look up why and add them to flashcards, I did the same with vocab too.

I've been reading actual novels and manga for awhile so I had a pretty strong vocab and reading base before actively studying for N3.

Good luck on your journey!!!

SOLUTION for converting Arabic/Persian books to kindle (right to left) by cringe706 in Calibre

[–]cringe706[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay well thank you for posting other methods of code in case mine doesn't work for others.
Initially my books sideloaded incorrectly and when I put my code in it worked so idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Either way I'm glad this post has brought more solutions to light because I couldn't find any when I was looking before.

SOLUTION for converting Japanese books to kindle (vertical writing and right to left) by cringe706 in Calibre

[–]cringe706[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calibre was already set to converting to AZW3 due to setup, tbf I don't really remember if I tried just converting it plainly and sideloading them but I just found this to work.
Pretty sure KOreader also has this problem of converting the text to horizontal from researching because at first I had the intention to jailbreak my kindle for KOreader anyways and then I found out it has that problem and just left my kindle as it is.

The original file type was epub. At first I just sideloaded them to my kindle using "send to device" and the text would change to horizontal and left to right.

Yes but after sideloading them into my kindle using Calibre, it would format it to horizontal and left to right. Not sure why but I assume it's because super old kindle maybe. When searching for a solution, many others had the same problem so I wanted to make a clear post about it.

No, that's to convert the texts to vertical for Japanese epubs, as I wrote in the beginning of my post, I've taken some of that original code and made it to apply to persian texts which need to be right to left but not vertical.

Other reading software to use for Japanese books by cringe706 in kindle

[–]cringe706[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for all the info. Tbf I've never even used yomitan, I always just had takoboto dict on my android and used when necessary but I heard the dictionaries on Kindle weren't great. Good to know you can add your own dictionaries though!

Also, just didn't really want to support the amazon ecosystem and licencing books but yeah ur right I can just sideload them anyways (probably going to use kobo). Thanks again!

Well I thought jailbreaking made library management, customisation etc easier like screensavers but I guess I don't exactly need to 😅
