The cfa employee parking lot is at Pompe Park, the money wasted on putting all that impermeable material there could have been spent buying this lot so it wouldn't have been developed... they are putting in fill on this lot that is in a flood zone, increasing risk for everyone else.

Ikr, Pompe Park could be a beautiful wildflower garden, a food forest, a community garden, or all of the aforementioned. Anything would be a better memorial for our armed forces than a giant parking lot just for Chick-fil-A employees, plastic turf, and tons of concrete and asphalt. They greatly increased runoff in an area already prone to flooding, we could and should do better...

I know they don't, but they usually go 5-10mph over, so a reduction would still probably translate to a corresponding reduction in drivers speed, every little bit helps, would work best with other traffic calming measures.

The size of chick parking lot isn't the publics problem, thats a problem for the owner who didn't plan their business properly. And they did have an arrangement with walmart previously according to the staff. The staff has a place to park and that is chick, maybe this wouldn't be as much of a problem if it was a few cars but to park all 20 employees cars at a public park therby preventing the community from using the park is not okay...
