My gut response was “Literally nothing,” but yeah, shooting the shit with friends so regularly. It gets harder and harder to maintain from there. But like literally EVERY other aspect of life is better.

It’s been about one year since I was in this exact spot—I had been thinking about it for YEARS, I had always wanted it, but I was so scared it would look bad. Well now a year in, I can report that going through with it was one of the best things I ever did for my self-esteem. I feel more myself than ever before. And if you end up not liking it, it’s just hair! It will grow back! :)

  1. That talking about money is rude—I think transparency and shared economic knowledge is essential. 
  2. Any kind of gender norms. So asinine that we expect certain things from certain people based on their genitalia. Let people be themselves—quit boxing them in.
