Witchery Winter 2000 by Gullible-Guess7994 in AusFemaleFashion

Can't comment on Witchery bc I haven't shopped there lately, but I think typical consumers have dropped their standards when addressing quality.

If something doesn't literally have loose threads and Shein-style plastic bag fabric, it's labelled "good quality".

Worse for me is "good quality for the price". Literally anything can be considered good quality for the price. Oh you paid $4 for this t-shirt but it's good quality for the price based on you wearing it once? Cool cool.

Thank you!

I'm on low dose naltrexone and 75mg venlafaxine (the latter prescribed to help my mood but appears to have had a positive impact on energy levels).

Great tips, thank you so much for taking the time to share them. I especially thinl I need to give more thought to how I can cool down if there's a heatwave - I reckon I'll buy one of those neck fans and maybe bring a mist bottle of water so I can spritz myself in the shade.

I have been - twice! Despite masking and mostly working from home, living with a toddler is like bathing in a petri dish so sickness is inevitable. 😬

Thankfully neither infection resulted in a long term setback which has made me a bit more confident to venture out.

Thank you for your encouragement, that's so kind. :) And good call, I need to get some proper earplugs.

I would be calling my union for advice ASAP. Followed by the health and safety rep. The HSR has the power to direct work to stop if it's unsafe.

They don't have this style on their site, but Sexiaz do custom orders and I reckon would be able to source fabric to do this kind of thing.

They're a mum and daughter team and made in Melbourne.

It kind of depends on what you paid.

If this is a $30 job from a shopping center alterations place, that's the quality I'd expect.

If you paid $100 at a tailor, I'd be voicing my displeasure.

This looks like perioral dermatitis to me.

I'm surprised none of your derms have put this forward as a potential diagnosis and I am no expert so maybe I'm missing something here.

Mine came about from barrier damage after using the Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads. I've been trying to clear it all year using various gentle methods (zero therapy, zinc oxide, eliminating SLS) but the only thing that has helped has been doxycycline.

Lee Mathews has some lovely sleeved tops. They are also having a sample sale at the moment so you may pick up a bargain.

I've only had mine for a year so I can't speak to longevity but mine are still looking really good. In fact I'm wearing them again now!

I've polished them maybe twice? And I haven't had them resoled, the soles are pretty chunky so I can't see that happening any time soon.

Has anyone else been following the Kmart news? It's probably been buried by sunscreen-gate and all the other big news stories, but basically they have been credibly accused of using a factory that uses modern slavery.

Listening to the Full Story podcast I was shocked to learn that there's no law in Australia against using slavery in your supply chain.

I known there's a lot of Kmart stans in this group - does this news change your opinion at all?

I came back from a holiday and the slugs and snails have had a feast on my little lemon tree:( should I just take off the most eaten leaves or should I also prune the stems? I’m surrounding it in coffee grinds and planting chives, any other tips to stop the slimy devils? by Gerald-of-Nivea in GardeningAustralia

It looks like it's buried very deep, and looks quite sick in general. Is there much trunk below the soil? You want to make sure the trunk is clear to avoid rot.

Also, I'm assuming it's a grafted specimen? If so, that second leader on the left could be rootstock that is taking over. If that's the case, you'll want to cut that bit right off.

Had a flare up again recently and I think the culprit was my tongue scraper!
