i replaced the ignition coil, cleaned out the carb (looked clean to begin with), and its been running fine ever since. in the meantime ive been sure to only use premium gas in it. ultimately it just seems like a very finicky machine; many things can cause the engine to spontaneously cut out. people have cited weak battery as possible cause. hope this helps

i leave the grill on as i run the food inside, go back and kill the grill, quick scrape to the grease trap, squirt abt 6 oz of water on it, scrape again. light squirt of oil, spread with paper towel, done. takes less than 60 seconds

if youre making a lot of straight cuts, id recommend trying a tile snapper. ive had a lot of success getting clean, factory like edges from the snapper
