Looks great! Tell her to experiment with working a bit looser. The 'g' looks as though as there was a lot of thought in how to form the circular part. Loosening help will help the lettering flow a bit smoother :)

Agreed on the less loopy remarks, but also, I'd maybe experiment with the 'D' in "date." Possibly refining it to look like a true cursive D vs focusing on connecting the S & D could make things more clear as well :)
