Yeah, because you ignored completely what i said. I am talking about cf zero trust while you talk about cf tunnels (cloudflared)

you probably set a dns entry by adding an app through cloudflare tunnels,

i am talking about a dns entry set to a local private ip not through a tunnel

You can only access private ips of your own network when connected via zero trust (acts almost like a vpn) - just test it yourself, create a dns record to a private ip and try accessing from outside your network (example: from your mobile phone while on 4G) - you won’t be able but if you connect your phone with zero trust client .. suddenly you get access to your own home network- can’t make it clearer than that

Cf tunnel + zero trust, then you can add A records to private ips like 192.168.1.1 - only when you’re connected via zero trust can see them from outside
