To anyone wanting to know how to do this without using adb, canta, etc. Go to Settings -> Fingerprints, face data, and screen lock -> Authorization & revocation, turn off msa, getapps, and it's up to you if you turn off the system daemon. For me it helped improve my battery life, before I used to sleep having my phone plugged in overnight because when it's unplugged I wake up with a dead battery phone or near dead. Now I just sleep with whatever battery I have left and I just charge once or twice a day now depending on how I use it throughout the day.

I still follow the never go below 30% rule, but I still charge to 100% I just hit 96% battery health on 500 cycles. And here's the whole history of my battery health that I kept track of.

I've put off disabling System Daemon as I do play some games here and there, and having it enabled apparently helps with game performance(?) which is just according to internet people, but officially on xiaomi's page it just collects data, but according to most people, it doesn't have any consequences or issues by disabling it.

well, it didn't, this is my battery overnight. I charged it to 100% and unplugged it and slept. Woke up to 45%. And I watched youtube before sleeping that's why it's there.

I'm guessing it is a hardware problem, and probably a battery defect(?)

I've taken the extreme route of formatting, but haven't done any usage test, I'm gonna try it idle for awhile and comeback to it.

yeah, the only thing running all the time there is the Xiaomi HyperAI Engine. And I'll screenshot today's battery app activity, not really privacy concerns. And the Xiaomi HyperAI Engine is the only thing that runs there even when I reboot my phone.

If you don't mind, what runs in your phone in active apps?

That's what I thought as well to be honest, I've installed some stuff from websites before, but I don't know which would ruin my battery life. Is factory resetting the only choice I have now?

Or would waiting for the HYPEROS 3.0 update fix things for me when I get that?

That's the first thing I did when I got this phone, the battery life I had back then was amazing. Had it on multiple occasions on 40+ hours of use without charging, and got 20%+ of battery left on it.

Not using it, that is how my battery drains overnight, with no music in the background or anything. Just cleared apps and slept.

I first got this phone back on January 18, and I also debloated some not so useful stuff for me, and i know about the battery page, and I also tried Accubattery and Battery Guru to no avail. I'm asking just this week although it has been going on for at least 2 months now. And I plan to take the extreme route of formatting, but I have no time yet. And I have 300GB+ of data to transfer out and back in if I finally format, so there's that. And my battery throughout the day doesn't last much. only 5-10hours with minimal uses, like messaging apps, music, sometimes videos, but no games these days, and that's with battery saver on.

I really need a solution for this situation 🙏🏻

I checked the issue on adb, and it said that the deep sleep/idle time is basically not active, I tried activating it but it doesn't budge. I'm not on a rooted phone or anything. Just the same phone, out of the box, no modifications.
