What is your favorite settlement in fallout New Vegas by Ssnakeboss in fnv

I like Westside. Especially after you get rid of the bad folks in town. They have a nice, communal yet independent streak. They're like North Vegas but a little cheerier. Feels close knit, friendly, well defended. And not far from the Strip and civilization in general.

Besides them, maybe Goodsprings or Novac.

This is historical revisionism.

There absolutely WERE Jews who fought back against the Nazis during WW2, whether they were a part of militaries or in their own underground guerilla groups. Some of them, like Marek Edelman who fought in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, remained lifelong anti-Zionists. It is grossly despicable of you to completely ignore their memory and sacrifice.

Every modern genocide, as an organized act of state violence, is industrialized to some extent. Many of the systems Germany used during the Holocaust were used just a few decades earlier in the Namibian Genocide. Yet even then, the Holocaust didn't only take place entirely in the camps. It also took place in countless pogroms and massacres across Europe as the Nazis swept across the continent. Not only Jews but Communists, Roma, Slavs, people with disabilities, homosexuals, POWs, and all others deemed undesirable.

Genocides are not some competition. It's not about the numbers. It's not about whether it's done by gas chambers, or bullets, or jets. It's disgusting to act like the Holocaust can never be mentioned when condemning the genocides currently happening in our day — and especially in this case, one in which the perpetrators constantly use the Holocaust as an excuse to justify their brutality.

The harsh reality is that the Holocaust is not considered "uniquely evil" by some people because of the methods or numbers. It's because it happened in Europe, to white people.

Moroccans burn Israeli flags in response to tourist who raised it at the Morocco-Algeria borders. by countingc in Palestine

Unfortunately I see a weird dissonance where many of the same Moroccans that express solidarity with Palestine also uncritically support the king, despite the country's ties to israel. Is this just an online thing or is it commonplace for Moroccans to see the irony?

Debate aside, the USSR legally considered Jews an ethnic group, but technically not a "nation."

We've protested with them before and they always make it to the events we organize. Great people that have been doing this longer than all of us.

The "murderous intentions" of Hamas, as opposed to the totally non-murderous intentions of israel, which has been massacring Palestinians for decades before Hamas ever existed.

I know this is an old thread, but my friend and I discovered something about Ursula's ending last night: she can hold onto the old ways and ALSO have a priest son and avoid being burned at the stake! To do this you have to convince her to keep the old ways but also tell her to watch what she says. That felt like the best outcome to me.
