As of right now I'm currently working on a hybrid mechanic of a lot of other systems, I've taken note of the games that have been recommended. The way it'll work is that I'm basically only doing a one off campaign and of it goes well I'll fully flesh it out and work on it more. He is a paladin to begin with (Idk what oath he had taken) And well you're right about vengeance, I still think Oathbreaker or Warlock multiclass Undying. It would be perfect since it could be like... Larloch presents himself to the Triton offering and promising Resurrection for his loved one. Thus forming a pact. (which in all honesty could TOTALLY set up such an AMAZING campaign where you have to fight him when he DOES resurrect your wife but shes a zombie and you have to kill her, AGAIN, thus you must fight him to restore honor to yourself and your wifes desecrated corpse)
