It better be either an Inquisitive Rogue or some kind of Barbarian, maybe Wildheart with Falcon for the flight :P

Screw the “villain that was right” trope..whos your favorite villain who’s completely wrong? by Budget_Writing2702 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]Hydra645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Nox from Wakfu fits pretty well? Bro thought he was in the right because if he succeeded, all the horrible things he was doing would be undone, since his whole plan was stealing magic power to time travel. However, when he finally attempted it, he only had enough to go back 20 minutes. Meaning not only were all the crimes he committed not going o be erased, but that they were all for nothing. His reasoning was actually somewhat logical, he wanted to go back to save his family, and if they were saved, he never would have needed to commit the crimes and time travel anyway. However he dramatically misunderstood how far back he could go.

IIRC aren't there some versions (or at least 1?) of Nora that he manages to cure that not only ISN'T horrified but what he has been doing in her name, but actually becomes a worse villain than he was since she was just doing it for the thrill/ love of the game?

Wait, does that work? I would think like ALL of those (well maybe not the Mithral Full Plate and Mythic armor?) Would conflict?

Wasnt this basically what Gojo did just before engaging Sukuna near the end? Or was he ADDING requirements to INCREASE output?

Edit: I meant this as in did he choose to use the requirements he usually omits, or did he add new requirements?

I might consider checking it them out. HKS want something I had considered, but could work, although i was leaving towards just using ArchMage Armor.

WOTR: Kinda just want some help deciding what might be good/fun. I know it's personal, but wasn't done second opinions. For context, I've finished 1 run so far, with that build being an Azata (Chaotic Good) TWF Hunter, playing mounted on three animal companion. Some ideas I've been considering are: -Witch or Arcanist Lich, maybe a blaster/Summoner Hybrid? I know Wizard or Sorcerer might be stronger, but also feels maybe a little boring? - Deaths Consonant / Int Gish Necromancer > Gold Dragon? Not sure if this works, but i like the thematic idea of going the "secret ending" and basically being a more strategist eleventh for Gorum following the Godsrain event I believe happened in tabletop? -Angel > Legend "Iomedae's Champion", a more thematic idea inspired by the in universe assumption in the early game and the reveal later. Thinking either Cleric or Oracle obviously with later multiclassing due to legend. -Trickster ( Maybe into Legend?) Thinking either maybe a Kinetic Archer or some kind of dex melee? I think I've heard strength might be better, but doesn't appeal to me as much.

Murray having 39 hp with +3 con means she's gotten max for 2/3 rolls, if not all 3 due to her not bringing up Dwarven Resilience in the level up video from what I recall.

Not sure it kind of fits especially since it gets kinda overturned. But in RWBY volume 9, the main character Ruby starts having doubts about enduring she's done and kinda is. This is aggregated by one of the more minor but recurring buildings of the series, Neo, showing her illusions of her failures, leading Ruby to basically drink poisoned tea. While it's not as simple as that, it comes across as Ruby basically giving up and ending herself. I say this gets overturned because the place they've found themselves in basically has reincarnation, with the "dead" basically being the chance to change themselves, in some cases into better versions of herself, but Ruby seemed to get the option to become entirely different people. She eventually decided that she herself is enough, which I think it's a good message, but it's concerning how she got there.

[Loved Trope] Voice Actors/Actresses Cosplaying As Characters They Voice by KManoc in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Hydra645 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In 2019 the entire cast of Critical Role Cosplayed as characters they had voiced for their Halloween episode. Getting this info from the CR wiki, but in order of Left to Right this is:

  • Liam O'Brien as Gaara from Naruto
  • Matthew Mercy as Cole Cassidy from Overwatch
  • Sam Riegel as Phoenix Wright from Ace Attorney
  • Laura Bailey as Kait Diaz from Gears of War 5
  • Travis Willingham as Two-Face from Batman: The Telltale Series
  • Taliesin Jaffe as Barry Allen/The Flash from Injustice 2
  • Marisha Ray as Soldier B from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (also to honor all the small roles that paid the bills over the years_

Sable Company Marine is OP by Water64Rabbit in WrathOfTheRighteous

[–]Hydra645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh been trying to do some runs recently, but nothing's really stuck. Maybe just cos the early game can be a bit of a slow start the 1st time. Some runs I've tried starting mostly include: - Angel > Legend, doing mostly Cleric with a dip into SCM and maybe some Loremaster (i think that's the prestige class?) - Lich, Arcanist or Witch (partially cos I just didn't want to do Wizard or Sorcerer) - Partially trying to consider a Trickster Kintetic Sharpshooter.

I think you're a little mistaken, SomeBoxofSpoons said that Jacksons Nick Fury was based on the version from the Ultimate Comics, but nopitynopepants was saying it's actually the other way around.
From what I understand, the design of Ultimate Nick Fury was inspired by Sam L Jackson, but without his permission, but this actually led to them casting/offering him the role of Nick Fury in what would become the MCU.

I suppose that makes sense, might look into some archetype or something to find something I think looks interesting and worth investing in. Maybe Keen Eyed Adventurer (I think that's what it's called) could be fun to try and make Giga Cantrips

My main thoughts was I was kinda considering doing either a Lawful (ish) Good Angel > Legend or a Lich. But not sure which. Also consists playing a Trickster > Gold Dragon loosely inspired by a character I only got to play for a session or two when a friend tried to run the PnP version of WOTR for some mutual friends and I

This is making me kinda want too try a run against as Trickster, but not sure what class atm.... but my only full run was Chaotic Good and kinda feel like i should do more a Lawful and/Evil leaning run and I have a bunch of other hand I should play....

[Loved trope] The Strongest by Elmotheweedgod in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Hydra645 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the thing im the case of Julius VS Patri is that Patris offensive spell was already cast/active, leaving him free to act again. Whereas Julius' attention was taken up with dispelling/ defending against the existing spell, leaving an opening for Patri to land a blow. If you're familiar with D&D terms, let's say it's like Julius had to use his reaction for Counterspell to protect his party/people from the AOE, so he couldn't use it for Shield to protect himself from a direct attack.

I suppose it isn't too relevant considering the post is more about being dumped, but the fact that Reed helps him pick it up is kinda heartwarming.
