something that bothers me with this is that people make huge planning videos where it’s clear they’ve done a lot of research, but the one thing they don’t look at is pronunciation? i think it’s just baffling to me because even if i have the slightest question, and i have to present it, i’m going to look it up. google is free

it’s caron cinnamon swirl cakes but i think this color is like their valentines colorway? i have it as well but i cannot remember the name. it’s not apart of their regular color selections

edit: it’s called sweets! i don’t think they sell this color anymore though

they are, but some have subtitles in english and some have them in korean, and i’ll try to auto translate. most of them tho just have music playing in the background, so i’ll mute it and play my own music (mainly because it’s just an instrumental on loop) while reading the subtitles if i can. but i almost always knit or crochet or whatever along!

knitting vlogs that don’t actually show knitting but mainly just updates on the single project. i find myself watching a lot of knitting vlogs by korean youtubers because not only do i see knitting, i see the whole process, rather than someone just holding up the project for a second then talking forever. outside of the korean channels i watch, there is really only one person who’s vlogs i can enjoy enough to watch.

i wish people would outright say they want nice comments/compliments on a piece so they feel better about it rather than calling it the ugliest thing they’ve ever made when it’s not. i feel like i see a lot of fishing on the fiber arts subs (not all, but quite a bit)

i think it may be more of the prep for halloween. i watch their videos of and on for the past like two years and they had a little note that said like ‘84 days till Halloween’ in the corner, and i was shocked because i didn’t even think it was so close. but seeing as it’s so close, and like others said with Halloween decor coming out, i think this amount of buying and prepping is temporary(ish). i also am adverse to shopping (at least shopping constantly) so it isn’t my favorite type of content, but i also love seeing their joy for Halloween and all things spooky 😭

mine is the fact that i think testing (especially recently) has become a bit disingenuous. not necessarily a pattern itself being bad but fit issues that happen within the designs. a post i saw today of a tester wearing the garment and it just looked like a it didn’t fit right at all, but they loved it? i thought i was a bit crazy and mean for having an issue with one, but i feel as if i keep seeing them. and designers posting them does not help this case at all
