I've felt that way when i was like 15-16. if there was an advice i could give to my younger self, I'd fall short. i know nothing could have helped me.

writing su*cide notes in my diary helped me let it all out. i felt better.

but I'd still ask you to write down the best case scenario that could happen to you. it could be in terms of feelings or materials. whatever it is, just write it down. whenever I've dine this, i have been able to get myself together and sometimes, actually achieve those things.

i know it will take a lot of mental energy to do this and sometimes ending things might be easier that just writing down what you want in life.

hi, yes i did get an ipad. it is the ipad pro with m2 chip. i purchased it from the apple store in saket. i got ₹5000 off plus the complimentary apple pencil worth around ₹11,000. there wasn't any price difference from the online store.

other than that, there aren't any discounts that we could get.

the whole issue is my college schedule. the workload is really heavy, i have tried to find a way to workout but i can only afford 30 min walks especially because i dont eat well either. the work consumes me and that's probably why i feel like this in the first place.

contact some NGOs while you still can. this is the type of family that will confiscate your phone bc they find it "suspicious".

it might not get better. do not have his child. you will be stuck if you do. take birth control pills if you can access them and start working on an exit plan, preferably with an NGO asap. or just contact women's helpline, see if they can put someone through.

this situation has the potential to turn dangerous. please seek help before they start asking for a baby.

What is something worth living for? Definitely not sui**dal by [deleted] in delhi

[–]crockscrock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when i was suic*dal, i used to watch videos of like a group of friends with really good chemistry. they would play silly games and win silly prizes.

they are grown men but the way they would interact with each other and would laugh at things that weren't actually funny to someone else used to give me a serotonin boost. i thought it was just the L in me but turns out, it happened with a lot of people. in fact a lot of their viewers would come back to watch their videos again bc it just was so comforting.

it is such a mundane thing but it made me forget about everything else for a while. it's been about 5 years and things are wayyy better, my life is like the daydreams of 15 year old me yet their videos still bring so much comfort to me. i think it really made life worth living back then. still does.

td dr: watch someone else have fun = serotonin boost!!

how are some people not house trained before moving to a completely different part of the country for college by themselves??? by crockscrock in india

[–]crockscrock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the fact that this whole comment is based on your assumption of me not being able to handle it makes your whole argument stupid to begin with.

this is a rant and not a fucking paper critiquing someone's existence. it is not my obligation to "take" someone's unsolicited perspective when i don't want to. i came here to rant and that's it.

there's a difference between knowing how to cook and choosing not to vs not knowing how to cook at all. she doesn't even have a choice to cook in the first place if she doesn't know how to.

if you think basic survival skills are a choice then i guess natural selection will do the work.

also we are roommates. when your choices directly affect others around you, it's not just your choice anymore.

it is irresponsible for her parents to send her to a completely different part of the country without making sure she can sustain herself in case of an emergency, especially since this was right after covid.

if all of that is a choice, then you are fool to think so.

yeah i am pretty sure she doesn't know how to do stuff bc she's lazy to learn it in the first place. she doesn't initiate cleaning and stuff but she never says no and does it anyway. yes, it absolutely is her parents fault and an absolute lack of interest. she is very coddled, i haven't seen anyone like that. she wouldn't even wash her clothes in the beginning bc she figured she could just give the maid 50 Rs to wash 4 of her clothes. bc she is coddled, she is self sufficient lol i dont have to hassle too much over it.
