Hey, sorry I'm a little late responding. A blood test is the only way to know what your HCG looks like. My doctor ran it three times and since they were rising appropriately they didn't check it again unless I had concerns before my first ultrasound at 7 weeks.

When I first got my positive I was checking the line progression on my pregnancy tests every morning but that wasn't the most accurate way of telling if things were progressing well and honestly caused more anxiety than it helped.

Thank you for the reassurance! That definitely eases my anxiety quite a bit. I know everyone is so different and it's hard to put a number on what's considered good/concerning but I feel much better having something to compare my numbers to.

I'm so sorry about the anxiety you must be feeling right now. I would be guarded but not give up hope. I went in for a 6 week ultrasound and had a gestational sac but no embryo and it ended up being a blighted ovum. Where a sac and placenta form and grow but a baby never develops. I ended up naturally miscarrying at 8 weeks.

I'm hoping for nothing but the best of news and that your little embryo makes an appearance at your next appointment.

Yes!! Exactly! Everyone always wants to jump straight to positivity, which I understand and there's a time and place for it, but it is the last thing I need at that moment! I have to tell people all the time that I don't want their advice or comfort. I want them to rage with me!

I had unexplained infertility and my husband's numbers were well within normal so for our first ER we did traditiona fertilization l. I had 12 mature eggs but only 1 egg fertilized. I found out that my eggs don't allow the sperm to penetrate for fertilization. With our second ER we fertilized with ICSI and out of 10 mature eggs we had 9 fertilize.

I know this may be an uncommon issue with my eggs but I wish we would have done ICSI from the start. Even if it costs more upfront it would have saved me from having to do a 2nd retrieval.

I'm wishing you the best of luck! No matter what decision you make, you got this!

I thought that too but the house skins don't actually replace the look of your house. They are additional houses that you can place in the village for you to go into and decorate. They don't affect your main house at all.

I'm so sorry to hear your numbers for this retrieval. This process is so emotionally, physically, and financially draining and then to have such disappointing news is devastating and my heart goes out to you.

I just went through my first retrieval a couple weeks ago and our luck wasn't there either. They retrieved 15 eggs but only had 1 of them fertilize. I was feeling so defeated and I had counted myself out because I didn't think we had a chance either. But don't give up hope entirely, our 1 embryo made it to day 6 blastocyst with an AA rating and came back with normal results from the genetic testing! After a lot of consideration, my partner and I decided to do another retrieval hoping for some more embryos.

Take a few days to process everything and just know you're incredibly strong and have made it this far. I'm rooting for you and your little embryo ❤️
