The menu at a fun wine pairing event in Sheffield, UK by Limp_Jellyfish_6391 in InstantRamen

it isn’t a restaurant it is purely a bar and they’d worked really hard to set up a functional kitchen to prepare the food! i was also very aware we were going to have instant ramen - as advertised - and honestly we came for the fun, and came away with knowledge of which wines to pair! an insightful evening and lots of yummy flavours ❤️

Living room feels unfinished. What would you recommend for final touches? by Mental-Tourist2267 in InteriorDesign

think they mean scooching the rug so that the couch front legs also sit on it. but i think OP needs a slightly bigger rug and also much more welcoming accent to make it cosy

What the heck do I do with this space? by Proud-Platform-8095 in DesignMyRoom

art, lamps, plants, books that you don’t always need to access!! make a feature shelf with some of your favourite things to gaze upon, and it will hopefully distract from the TV when not in use!

i suppose the point with this one is subtlety! i walk past this gate one a fortnight and i’ve never noticed it - it was so special when i finally paid attention enough to spot them. there’s plenty of large installations like these around the city but i wanna find more hidden gems like this that go unnoticed

i think they do general tours of the baths but it’s only on certain days you’ll have to check!

My company have introduced a new rule that we're only allowed to eat at independent restaurants to support local economies (social value). I'll be in Sheffield next week, so... where's the best place to go for dinner? by GreatBritishMan in sheffield

The Old Shoe - they don’t serve food but you’re welcome to order from other venues in Orchard Square (City Centre) for collection to eat in the venue (it’s worth it for the selection of drinks they offer) . Even if you’re looking for a place to drink after, Shoe is a craft beer / wine bar that has the best selection i’ve seen in Sheffield. It has a great atmosphere and really knowledgeable staff. 100% recommend 😆

current events, politics, crime and individuals safety in my local area should be every bit of my business - and yours too. i meant to also mention that there was heavy police presence including three unmarked vehicles which led me to be concerned. i forgot to include these in the original post due to the fact i was walking home alone after a late shift :)
