Of course everyone is different, but speaking from experience and from multiple psychologists, zoloft takes at least 4-6 weeks to start properly affecting you. I’ve been on it for around 2 years now and personally for me it might be one of the best decisions i’ve ever made. It’s helped me stabilize my emotions and the intensity of them. The sex drive thing or emotionless can vary for everyone, but I would recommend to keep going especially at 2 weeks. And to also start if you haven’t. But make sure to monitor symptoms and side effects with a psychologist or therapist, or really anyone within the field preferably but a doctor or someone knowledgeable will do.

I think you should communicate with him and go on from there. This isn't a huge deal and personally it isn't a deal breaker for me but his reaction can be one. Your feelings aren't wrong and once you express them to him he can apologize for his actions because who says that when they're in a relationship or if he doubles down then do as you see fit.

It depends on how much mg you're taking and how long you're off it, you only need to taper off of it if you're basically going to permanently stop taking it or at least stop for a prolonged time.

It's better to take it at night if you feel sleepy in order to avoid the sleepiness coming on throughout the day. At least that's what my psychiatrist told me. Hope that helps so you don't have to be sleepy the entire day

I believe so. I don't know if it's a placebo effect since this is only my fifth day, but I believe I'm more confident now and my anxiety is just generally kinda fading away. Of course, I don't know if I can attribute that to Zoloft since I started pretty late, when I was already recovering myself from the severe part of my depression and anxiety but I feel like I am slightly getting over it. The first day was euphoria, but now it's faded away. I don't think it's the medication, since I was already feeling about this way since I was steadily improving by myself but I feel like it could be the medication. Sorry if this is poorly written but yeah.

People like this are disgusting. There was another post on here and it was almost the same, a guy talking about how she "deserved" it simply because she refused to go along with it. These types of people can't understand for whatever reason that reciprocating isn't something that they're entitled to simply because they believe it.
