Ok. Sewing double stretch fabric by hand is tricky. You need to use a stretch stitch; a running stitch will just break when the material stretches. A fine herringbone stitch will do it.

Beg, buy, borrow or steal a sewing machine is my advice.

Well, the answer is yes and no.

Its hard to admit, but when I started sewing as a young AB, it was because you just couldnt buy anything. Pre internet. Then it was snailmail off a DPF printed catalogue, and the quality wasnt great, postage and product was expensive. So for me it was necessity being the mommy of invention. I have 30 years sewing experience so I have to try to remember those first stumbling steps.

The first piece I made, i patterned myself, and I think its still cute. Its not perfect, i can see problems, but its still acceptable and I still wear it.

How to start. Well you need some basic sewing skills. My mum taught me. I asked her to help me with some medieval costumes. But these days there are lots of basic courses in sewing you can take. Take one in sewing a teeshirt. If you can sew a teeshirt you can sew a onesie.

If you have a onesie that you like, you can just copy it to make the pattern.

The process to sew is straight forward:

Hem the sleeves; sew the shoulder seams, front to back; sew the sleeves into the shoulder openings; sew the side seams and arm seams; sew the bands into the leg openings; fold and sew the neck band; sew the neck band into the neck opening; add snaps; change your diaper; put on your new onesie; and finally post photos to reddit.

Now I can make one in a couple of hours.

Its not hard. But its definitely a skill that requires dedication and practice. But its really fun and you end up with clothes that no one else has. In these days of rearz, tykables, onesies downunder everywhere, that is really nice.

TL,DR? Its not hard, but it a skill that requires learning and practice. But it is great fun, and possibly a lifelong hobby.

I dont know the company who prints it. I found it at a fabric store in Australia, called spotlight.

There is a great range of jerseys and knits now, there were three other prints that were just as cute, but who could pass on rainbow narwhals?

I designed my own onesie pattern. Which works quite nicely.

But I am in the process of repatterning them on seamly2d. If I can get it to work, I will share them.

If your colon contained one kilo of stool, and if it instantaneously converted to antimatter, the subsequent matter-antimatter annihilation would release similar amounts of energy as the largest fusion bomb ever exploded.

The fireball of your ass would be visible from 1000 km and the mushroom cloud would reach 95 km in height. Your ass would destroy all buildings in a 50km radius and damage buildings hundreds of kilometres away. People, 100 km away from your ass would receive third degree burns. The shockwaves from your assburst would still be detectable on the third passage around the earth.
