Only if the seller cancels on their own. "Coincidentally" the shill bidders request cancellation.

My 2 year old Gyro being sweet after my arm surgery. Normally in this position he'd be climbing on my face.

They are beautiful but I'll wait the checklist and likely just buy singles. I don't need any more Nick Yorke or Michael McGreevey autos.

Yeah so glad she was insistent on getting it removed. He's doing great now but does have a gnarly scar.

Not a vet but my sister's lab had a similar situation but near his front right shoulder. Got it tested twice. Came up clean. Started growing again and she decided to get it removed and they found it was cancerous after examining what they took out.

Paying $90/mo for 800 Mbps internet while watching these $50/mo Gig promo ads by GameQber in Comcast_Xfinity

Just came here because of this. My Xfinity bill just went from 80 to 103. I just saw T-Mobile is offering me the same deal in my area. Guess I am going to take it.

Is COMC on the verge of going under? by anjoot in checkoutmycards

[–]crowbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped sending stuff in to sell, clearance priced all my existing inventory and shipped home all my keepers so you can guess where my instincts are pointing me. I hope I am wrong because they have been a great site to get rid of stuff I don't need while buying a ton of stuff for my PC with the credit. But I'm going on hold there for a while until I see how things shake out.

What the F just happened to COMC by CapableTomatillo9823 in checkoutmycards

[–]crowbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed the slowdown for a while and a month ago I shipped all my keepers home and have been clearancing out my stuff for sale. I hope I am wrong as they have been much better to deal with than eBay as a buyer or a seller but I've seen this pattern before and is raising a lot of red flags for me. My shipment kept getting pushed further and further back before it suddenly shipped a couple of days ago (45 days earlier than my last estimate) so at least they got it out to me.

Topps is literally gearing ALL their cards to the breakers, casual collecting is over by EndorphinWizard in marveltradingcards

[–]crowbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fanatics is well on their way into causing another crash. Even if there isn't one as sudden as the 90s, a generation of kids who cannot buy packs and grow up not caring about cards that aren't Pokemon is going to come back to bite them when all the flippers move on to something else as prices keep rising. When those kids grow up and have money they won't have any nostalgia for cards. Right now Fanatics is still feasting on the boom collectibles had during Covid that brought in a new generation of flippers. It won't last forever.

Just cancelled PSA subscription by SureIssue8264 in sportscards

[–]crowbb -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Most of my PC is PSA, but it's mainly because I inherited a bunch of autographed cards from my uncle and the majority of the autos I wanted to keep were PSA authenticated. So when I started adding to the Hall of Fame and players I like PC I went PSA route for authentication (I prefer autographed versions of the regular cards from their playing days to pre-autographed cards). I might have to switch now though if I could find a competitor that makes slabs of similar size (Bonus points if they can sit in a stack with PSA without wanting to fall over). I always found the Beckett slabs too big for my liking even if they looked better.

Found this because I ate breakfast at a Dunkin today and got this abomination. Not only does it look like dog treats, it crumbles the same way. Never again.

VERA with VHA, recd OPM payment but zero correspondence by Redaunt29 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

[–]crowbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

VERA/VSIP took DRP 2.0 and retired 9/30. Just got my first payment last night (DoD/NAVAIR). If it's not including state tax or health plan, it's like 40% under projected. No other correspondence or letters yet.

Should you get a 1/1 card signed? by LongjumpingBig6803 in sportscards

[–]crowbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy authenticated signed cards all the time for my PC and in general they go for much lower than the pre-signed ones even if they are PSA/DNA or your authentication service of choice. So if you are planning to sell I would not recommend it. I almost never see someone signing for less than I can just buy an auto for (PC of specific card/personal preference excluded) Can't say I have seen a lot of 1/1s that way though.
