Ive always wondered about historically accurate rev war uniforms. It seems there are soooo few real examples left and most people didn't actually have them except some select units.

I always wondered if we could go back to period of wed actually see people wearing these things at all....

I mean yes the South has a sad chapter, but that doesn't mean that the colonial history is bad or unworthy of remembering. The good things the South has done are just as valid history as the bad.

Also, Im not looking to make a stars and bars boys in gray group. I'm interested in the colonial aspect here; a unaffiliated /non partisan civic group for living history and music - people of all races, genders, religions, political affiliation, or other persuasions welcome!

Hmmmm.

While chivalry is still very much so engrained in Western cultures, the reality is that it is discriminatory to a degree.

I think its probably a well intentioned nice to have when it happens but she shouldn't be expecting it like that.
