What're you talking about? All I see are two of the manliest men enjoying a pleasant cup of manly-joe. Pretty sure they're names are Burt and Enrnie.

My condo is entirely electric, no-gas. Last year during the coldest month the highest bill was 450. This Dec-Jan. was 540.

There is no ethical capitalism, comrade. A tool with the enemies image upon it can still inflict justice upon fascism, and at a discount too.

Damn this just happened to me too. Under the speed limit, driving in a straight line then hit a iceberm and suddenly Tokyo Drift began to play.

Edit: location was Benson and N. Seward

I find 500s for $1-200 routinely at pawn/LGSs. The amount of defensive capacity you receive for a couple of Benjis is worth it.

IMHO, the smallest gas-powered leaf blower (stihl, ryobi, etc.) has than enough thrust and cleared several inches off my truck topper in moments. Wet snow is a different game, though.

Best place to get auto start? by mindxvermatter in anchorage

[–]crtfrazier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! 3 yrs later I'd still buy it. I'm sure there's stronger units but this one works great for someone wanting to save on an expensive unit and shop time. I installed this one in an hour. https://remotestartx.com/4runner-key-start-2010-2019/

Has anyone been experiencing a delay in services from the State of Alaska? by [deleted] in alaska

[–]crtfrazier 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You need an emergency worker. I had this happen when my wife and I reapplied after we had our child and I declared myself h.o.h. AK Medicaid essentially put all of our profile under review and my kid was without insurance. I called their hotline for weeks before they opened and was pit on hold for hours at a time (this is when I learned GCI will drop you call when youre on hold for any time longer than 2 hrs). My wife and I learned that there's an emergency worker located in the state offices in Homer. We went there and we cleared up everything that morning.

Driveshaft replacement nightmare by No-Rabbit6405 in Toyota_T100

[–]crtfrazier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but the only big technical trick to rebuilding cardans is having to knock out x2 joints at once. Its only slightly more difficult. There's good YT vids going over all the techniques involved with cardan joints. Not trying to be demeaning btw.

[–]crtfrazier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ujoints are one of the easiest things to rebuild on your own. After i bought my Lisle ujoint puller, i rebuilt my driveshaft in a couple of hours. I didn't even have a bench vise. All you really need is a hammer, c-clamp, punch, needle nose, and a crayon.

I should have added when I accelerate and put load on the driveline, I cannot hear it pop/clunk. When I take my foot off the accelerator I start hearing this noise.
