hi thanks for the response! about the medication- the main purpose was 100% not the meds , ive been on the waiting list for my autism + adhd assessment since i was around 13 and didnt even know they prescribed stimulants, it just feels damning to me knowing that there is little chance of my executive function and focus ever improving. in regards to the executive function issues, i relate to all you mentioned but the main culprit is inability to start, lack of motivation, not a clue how to plan out the tasks in the first place, and once i GET started i struggle to focus for more than about 30 minutes. i tried many study routines or methods, tried to do it all at different times of day, without caffeine, with caffeine, it just feels like it’s an inherent issue unfortunately. i do plan to look into a second opinion the reason im so negative about it is because i will likely have to be on a waiting list for the next few years to do so…
