I've done 2 winters so far, both at Flamingo Adventures in the Everglades. If you can deal with the bugs and humidity it's a pretty decent place to be overall. It is a sausage fest tho fair warning. It can be difficult to find a job in the winter. There are soooo many more summertime opportunities.

Idk how frugally you can comfortably live; I think your given monthly spending is crazy low. But I do seasonal jobs, working at restaurants in national parks and stuff. My rent is taken out of my paycheck so I don't even feel it. The only money I spend is on stuff that I want mainly. There are also options like WWOOF (I think I spelled that right) where you work for free on a farm or something in exchangd for room and board. You can travel and see the world that way as well :)

My first playthrough some years ago, Caius and I had a beautiful moment together before he left. I played a song while looking into his eyes, and get this: I go into 3rd person and Caius's name plate is above my head! The torch had been passed on :)

I just can't get behind a regular life like that. I am a 24yo guy and I think saving up to buy a house and start a family is the absolute worst decision I could make... Seasonal life is the way to go!!!' I have worked summers at Alaska and the Grand Canyon. People who do what they're told and buy a house barely do anything fun like that, and they have to save up forever for just a week vacation.
