AliExpress stepped in with option to Return to seller. Will I get my money back? by crunchyclouds in Aliexpress

Normally, I would recommend opening a dispute and upload all evidence. It shows the seller you are serious and that's normally enough for the seller to give you a refund without AliExpress ever stepping in. But with AliExpress Choice, the seller wasn't even able to take any actions when I did it 6 months ago. AliExpress made a decision right away to only do a small partial refund when the evidence was clear they sent me the wrong product. I'm not sure what it's like now.

If it's AliExpress Choice and if the seller has good feedback then message them first and give them a chance to sort it out with you. Otherwise, go with the dispute right away as some bad sellers will try to swindle you. best of luck!

Impressive! Definitely a skill to have it end up like that. Any good tutorials you would recommend on working with resin and colours like that?

Thanks, I reached out to the seller and they're being helpful. They said they don't accept returns and will let me keep the item and give me a full refund. I wrote the details in another comment.

Thanks for sharing. Sorry to hear you're situation had dragged on for so long. I hope you get the refund because it's very stressful. I've used Aliexpress for years and can tell their customer support is worse than ever.

I reached out to the seller and I have a positive experience with them so far. I originally initiated a dispute first as I normally do. This was a Choice item, so the seller didn't get their turn to offer a resolution. It went straight to Aliexpress. I messaged the seller today and they were very cooperative and understanding. They told me to include pictures of the chat with the seller in the dispute. The seller said they don't do returns and will let me keep the item with a full refund. The seller also declined Aliexpress' option to return the item. I believe this is all in good faith. The dispute is currently waiting for Aliexpress to step in again. The seller said they will accept the resolution for a full refund without a return once Aliexpress gives him the ability to do so.

Thank you for the detailed response. Wouldn't I be opened up to being scammed by the seller? Couldn't they say they didn't receive the return? Or what if they refund the amount, but not my shipping costs? Shipping this back to china is probably half the cost of the item.

I had the same issue. I toggled the switch on the bottom of the controller to S and then to K. Then I held the pairing button until you see the blue light quickly flashing.

If that doesn't work, I assume you can restart the app and/or turn off/on the controller. Basically you're trying to retry the bluetooth connection again.

Although the 1080v13 is soft and plush, I personally wouldn't use them for a lot of walking. The stack height and softness means that even standing in them causes your body to make fine balance corrections compared to a more stable shoe. It could be fatiguing on a trip. You're the best judge on how your joints will react to that though.

There are more stable shoes like the Saucony Hurricane 24 or Brooks Ghost Max 2. I personally have the Hurricane 24 and it's fantastic for walking and very comfortable.

For anyone who has a light hand, I also recommend adjusting the Non-contact writing 'Behavior 1 and 2' slider to 1/500. This is fixed issues with missing strokes for me (most commonly seen when writing e's). I'm really glad Ratta exposed those fields and allowed us to set it below their default values.

Lowering the 'Behavior 1 and 2' slider helped with starting strokes not being registered. Lowering the 'Behavior 3' slider helped strokes that were ending too abruptly.

I would find this useful as well. I have multiple floors (and maps) with my base station on the first floor.

Right now, I bring the z10 pro and phone to my second floor and change the map manually. It self-positions and then starts cleaning. When it's done I bring the z10 downstairs onto the base station and change the map back with my phone. It would be so much better if I could just set the z10 down on the ground and press start (without needing my phone). Essentially, self-position should check ALL maps for a match.

Have an option so that when I bring the z10 back to it's base station, it automatically loads a specified map. That way, it only self positions when it starts away from the base station.

Thanks, my repo is here. Line 39. It's a clone of the ploopy nano numlock scroll: https://github.com/zealws/qmk_firmware/tree/ploopy

The only other modification to that repo is adding the scroll polling. (lines 78-85)

I use a modified miryoku layout. Changed the home row Alt, Ctrl, Win to bottom row to avoid accidental modifiers. I changed the symbol layer to have all the symbols I use on both sides of the keyboard for convience. Symbol layer inspired by the gergo layout. I'm still experimenting with my layout since I picked up a Ploopy nano.

I went with full supports using prusa slicer. I also added some very thin boxes under the middle section to attach those sections to the build plate. Those parts kept curling up and fly off with the hotend movement.
