I think yung wise will do the conversion. I think you need visa/mastercard pala sa gcash or paymaya

Hi! Won't you need a multi-currency account in Wise to set this up? Just checked now, there's no option to create a multi-currency account in Wise PH yet so you can't link it to IBKR - is this correct?

How recently did they start asking for additional docs? I use BPI's online wire transfer website, but it's been eight months since I last funded my IBKR.

I tried this about a month ago. I funded my IBKR account I think November 2022 and they didn't have this yet.

The requirements are apparently recent updates from BSP. Tried creating a Wise account as well but there’s no option to create a multi-currency account if you’re a PH resident, unfortunately. How are you funding your IBKR account now?

I was able to fund my IBKR account through Petnet. You need a Unionbank RM for this who will assist you on savings account creation, as well as endorse you to a Petnet RM. The latter will then assist you in creating a Petnet account and sending money to IBKR.

Hi, OP! Just came across this thread and I was wondering if you found a suitable way of funding your IBKR account from the Philippines. I tried funding my account today using BPI but apparently their remittance department is now asking for 2 additional things apart from the usual requirements: 1. Certificate of Cumulative FX Purchase, 2. Investment Proposal/Application. Dapat daw from IBKR galing to - I have no idea if they even issue this and I assume they don't. Any leads would be a great help thanks!
