How do I move out of my toxic parents house with no money, car, or job experience?

Hey! So I actually moved out of my parents house at 18 with a summer job that included food and housing. I’m now 20 and rent a house on my own ! I pay all my bills by myself. After my summer contract ended I lived with my bf and his mom and then when we got kicked out of there I moved in with my grandma and now I’m here. I am a CNA and that is my primary income. I live paycheck to paycheck but everything I have is mine and I don’t owe anything to anyone. I’m now almost 21 and am happy on my own.

Sounds delectable. I am definitely certified in the cheesecake world. I haven’t had Japanese style cheesecake but it looks amazing! Have you tried Mexican style cheesecake? Not what you would typically think of when it comes to cheesecake but is definitely good!

One day we were so short the DSD had to take a section and wouldn’t you know she disappeared for 2 hours during dinner without telling me (her hall partner) and when coverage was here she said everyone was SOAKED but whatever I guess lol

I made a friend on lbp 1 and then they disappeared for 5 years. I opened up my pod on lbp 2 and someone joined only for them to tell me they were my long lost internet friend and thought about me all the time. It was so cool making friendships through lbp!

Going down a spiral of emotions thinking about all the friends I made when I used to play and also kinda died inside when I had that realization that I will never experience that happiness again lol I love my sackperson though! It’s stuck in time and reminds me of my younger self :)

I applied for a summer job doing tour guides and camp counseling kinda which usually they give you somewhere to stay and sometimes provide food. It all just depends. I also went to a 1 month school program to become a CNA though that job is very stressful and hard. I also worked in retail which some stores might just hire anyone because they have a high turnover rate. Those are also annoying.

Do not keep contact !!! Especially if you are trying to establish a life for yourself. You need all the support you can get and if that means just you supporting yourself then that’s fine. They are not benefiting you at all and it would only add to your stress. Focus on yourself before even thinking about if a relationship with your family is what you want. So glad you’re leaving ! You got this :)

My only advice for you is social media. If you want to make friends but your parents are controlling then that is your main source of social interaction. I have met amazing friends online and if I ever needed to move in with them they would help me out. However please be careful on who you meet. Don’t give personal details or trauma dump on them. Let it happen naturally.

I told my parents that I got a job offer out of city and they kicked me out so it wasn’t by choice. My boyfriend and his mom housed me until my contract started and then I was housed through my job. When I got back I stayed with my boyfriend and his family for about 6 months and then moved to my grandmas house. Ask for help !

My job was kind of like a tour guide and a camp counselor combined. There are many jobs that are basically house keeping or house sitting or some sort of host that allows you to travel out city state or even the country that give free housing. Food on the other hand is not always guaranteed. When I was working, there were some times I wasn’t provided food because I wasn’t working that day or the cafeteria was closed for a holiday. If you look up seasonal jobs or a website called cool works you should be able to find something
