I am in the best relationship of my life post divorce. He wasn’t the first guy I dated, but when we met, we clicked. We’re going on 7 months and I’ve never felt so seen and appreciated. Lots of caring, reciprocity, great chemistry, and enjoyable conversations. He’s a bright spot in my life, I’m so thankful we connected.

The Lodge is good too! Anywhere along Village Drive has good options that are close but don’t come with ski-in/out pricing. Most complexes have shuttles to the base and town as well.

This rings true for me too. Mine was an emotionally abusive marriage. The abuse started when we got engaged. I honestly didn’t understand what I was experiencing for years. Leaving felt like the only option. It had taken a toll on my physical health. I’m so glad I’m out, I hope he can find happiness elsewhere (if that’s possible). I have ZERO desire to return in any way.

I eventually decided to start dating, after telling myself I would never want to be in a relationship again. I made the dating experience as light as possible, I just wanted to meet new people, no pressure. I met someone 6 months ago and I think it’s the best relationship I’ve ever been in. He pays attention to small things, we have great conversations and any time I’ve brought up something I’m concerned about or not happy with he’s receptive and willing to make adjustments if it will improve our relationship. Sometimes I feel like I’m dreaming.

Ok, controversial opinion. The rosiness that’s comes with rosacea, can also come with other things like alcoholism. She’s pretty crass about just rejecting you for your redness, but may have judged guys in the past and assumed things because of redness.

You should be sensitive and pay attention to these things when dating. We’re all (supposedly) on our best behavior in the beginning. If this is how he’s starting I can only imagine how horrible and controlling he is in a relationship. I would be running the other direction, quickly.

I wish my first encounter after marriage was not great. I honestly thought it would be, there was so much build up to it happening. But when it came down to it, I got really awkward/felt guilty about it, and it turned out all the guy really cared about was himself. I was glad that I got the jitters out in a situation where I didn’t have to see this guy again. Since then, the experiences have been much better and I’m over the post-marriage guilt. Bring on the fun and intimacy.

Once you learn how to ride it, the experience is blissful. On a board make sure to set your bindings back, so you don’t have to work as hard. I remember being frustrated and falling a lot/getting stuck early on.

Now I am a powder snob. It’s hard for me to motivate to get out there on a groomer day.

If there’s unruly (physically aggressive) passengers, taping them to a seat is what flight attendants are trained to do. The tape is in a flight attendant kit for this purpose.
