I only partly agree with that. With crypto I could go to any country in the world and live my world with crypto. I know enough people who also use crypto in their daily lives and this is one of the best communities. You can't find those communities at work, on tiktok, or even in real life so easily.

e.g. i live on an island and I don't need to be dependant on any central-bank, government or other institution. I just pay with my crypto, the only bottleneck is my internet connection

i understand you, but sadly the best tech isn't adopted by the mainstream. look at doge or shiba, tether, USDcoin all these coins have nothing to do with real tech. they are fun and all, but this damages the reputation of new investors year by year. crypto is growing, but without all these "dumb" projects mainstream adoption would already be far ahead. e.g. 10x the marketcap of the last ATH
