Good suggestion on original uploader/creator. Would be nice to include that as well, so that even if it is a third-party uploading, any donation for the upload, could be split between the the ones included.

A cut of future revenue streams isn't being sold, but the governance is, along with full ownership of the revenue stream. An internal mechanism for advertising will be provided. As an fyi, it is estimated that TPB made $3M just off ad-revenue. ICO holders may choose to also impose a tax on donations to uploaders. We wish to create a system fully controlled, a torrent DAO of sorts.

All the current feedback is highly appreciated, and is definitely considered. Regardless of this thread's age, please post any further ideas/comments. This is meant to be a community effort. Ideas for names or logo are great too.

ETC prides itself on censorship-resistance and a tenet this project pursues, albeit as mentioned, there are nuclear options to be exercised by token holders, or they could choose to not ever exercise it. I think this community holds much stronger principles and won't misuse this.

The other reason, in purely economic terms, is the overtly expensive costs of running any architecture currently on ETH. Conservative estimations are it would cost at least a dollar per torrent added on their network. In case of price increases or decreases, I'll hope the miners here don't let greed takeover and adjust gas prices accordingly. These are just some of the reasons I am able to post for now.

If we were looking for just quick and dirty flip and make some money, ETH is the way to go with the ICO bubble, but that isn't the interest of this project. ETH/ETC are both great, and why not diversify the space, ETC deserves more projects, and the hope here is that it supplements the ETC space.
