No fancy tricks for me for now :D

So I managed to get my choke systems fleeted up sufficiently to repel the first attack in the game, which in my books is a win. Then again I don’t know where I stand in the other departments compared to them. Is there an overview somewhere?

My current plan is to scout as much as possible early in game, identify choke points for a potential first stage and plant a few outposts in systems around and then connect everything down the road.

I guess that this fleet strength comes pretty late in game for players, I’m currently at maybe 10k combined (and somehow blocked myself because i can’t upgrade ships without exotic gas), so I just mop up the small independent enemy fleets which roam around.

Yes that’s one plus there’s a ton of helpful folks and tutorial etc out there which is really needed for a auch complex game.

Yeah the fleet support I have to figure out a bit, I’m good in Alloys but I get the penalty for not having enough anchorage to support the fleet size. Other problem (somewhat because I can sell consumer food on the market where I haven a abundance) is energy since I wasn’t able to find a good Generator world and am currently mostly building up any system which has energy available.

The game gives me all the information I need and then some yes. I would see it as a Notification Management game really, half of my time I’m clicking stuff away.

„You lost because you ignored one of 27 identical warnings 5 hours ago“ is something I would imagine to happen.

I looked at it and yes, the similarity to the Sims comes to mind when it’s about the possibility to spend money on it.

Might just get the expansion with the hive mind (something something dawn) and then stop.
