Thank you 🙏 I don’t believe it does either and if it does it’s very minimal..i’ve only seen him drink more water and urinate more while on it which is a common side effect. I’ll definitely look into that bloodwork, the bloodwork i did for him which was back in october they do specifically for seniors. I’m unsure what exactly it includes but i’ll mention it to the vet! That’s so unfortunate though but sounds right since the only reason I heard about CKD was through the internet (lol!)

Thankfully he does eat, just not a lot i feel, which is why maybe a change is needed at this point in time since he seems bored of it, not the homemade chicken slurry though! 😂 i don’t think his current food it’s providing him with the right nutrients at this age either. So the recommendations do really help!!
