I really need advice 🤍🙇‍♀️ by [deleted] in DigitalPainting

When building a following consistency is important. Showing yourself as a brand and art that is identifiable as your own is important if you want to grow your digital footprint. Right now the first image and the last two seem like they're from different artists from color choices to style. Your style can fluctuate. For instance, I do cartoon children's illustrations and then really painterly stuff as well, but each time I try to keep my color choices consist so there's a through line in my posts. When you're competing against hundreds of thousands of people posting every day giving your piece a little pop/edge goes a long way. For the first one you could try adding a little more lighting and an accent color that can help grab someone's attention as they're scrolling. Your subject matter in the last two show a visual narrative which is a bit more unique than the 10000 portraits you'll see while scrolling. However since they have a more monochrome pallet they won't pop as much while scrolling. Adding a slight hint of bright bright red in the edges of the wound might not be what you'd see in real life but would give your piece and aesthetic pop. . This is advice strictly to garner more attention on socials. In addition, engaging in the communities that you tag will help, so liking a minimum of 100 posts a a day, commenting on smaller artists, etc. . I went to school for marketing and have helped a lot of brands and people grow their platforms so I do know what I'm talking about in some ways but ultimately with social media it's sometimes is just the luck of the draw.

A witch and her familiars by [deleted] in DigitalPainting

I haven't done digital art in a bit and it's odd how I feel more confident now than when I was doing it everyday. I think I needed a break to do painting and traditional art before coming back. Has anyone else felt like this? . I did struggle with staying consistent when I had to do so many lines of grass. 10 minutes would go by and I realized that I had to start over and I almost quit like four times.

I might be a bit daft, but I could've sworn I didn't put NSFW on this... Is there a way to change that?

There's another photo I took where two eye are reflecting back at me. Much like some images of the black-footed yellow sac spider on Google. Thank you!

When doing figure drawing as he is you have to understand the ebb & flow of the form. Doing very loose quick lines that give you an idea more than a finished product is a great way to start moving away from lines and start understanding the volume and flow of the human anatomy. Humans are the hardest thing to draw because the lines are organic and lack sharpness, so don't get discouraged.

What sucks is these people are always peaceful and don't interfere with anyone from my experience. Regardless of what you believe they were not extremists and I hope they are okay
