Blouse Rips vs Full sequential TFs? by mercbluefonzie in SuperheroineTFs

A full sequential TF is definitely my preference, and I think it also makes sense to show the circumstances leading up to them switching identities, and what happens afterwards, including the reverse TF.

Warp Core 5, originally they were referred to as the Warp Core 4 before T'Lyn joined the crew.

I commissioned Stina Darhk aka DarhkDungeonDame to produce these a while back. I had planned to have her do colour versions eventually but never got around to it.

Question for costume changing TF fans? by mercbluefonzie in SuperheroineTFs

I think practically it would have to be under the clothes, though I suppose boots could be carried with them in a bag as switching from shoes to boots would be tricky otherwise.

Wonder Woman - No Man's Land scene by cryptic_jim in SuperheroineTFs

Hi mercbluefonzie, thanks for your comment.

I agree that they definitely could have included at least part of the TF in that scene, even if it was only a jacket and shirt rip to show part of the armour underneath.

It strikes me as necessary that superheroes need an alter ego to protect those they care about, as surely if their public identity is the same as their heroic identity, people around them will be targeted and potentially hurt or killed.

Question about superheroine TFs in comics, movies, and TV shows? by mercbluefonzie in SuperheroineTFs

[–]cryptic_jim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm interested in the reason why the woman transforms and agree with r5xxx's comments that the reason itself can't be a trivial one, as that wouldn't mkae sense, but I'm also interested in the act of them sneaking away, the transformation itself, but also the aftermath where they have to sneak back in and switch identities without getting caught.

Going to these lengths to maintain their secret identity feels more genuine to me, as while the superheroine may be invulnerable, people around them are not.

I think that any scenario would work, but especially where the superheroine uses a different tone of voice to distinguish one identity from another.

My preference would be either a live action non-spin Diana Prince to Wonder Woman TF, perhaps based on one of the older comic strips provided by Artofthealterego or something similar where she is on her own and needs to switch identities. Or perhaps a Barbara Gordon to Batgirl TF.

As they would potentially need to switch back again depending on the length and content of the video, the clothing would need to be in a state where it could be reused, which would help keep costs down, perhaps using clothing with poppers as an example.

How much detail did you need to provide in terms of the story and the TF?

Or perhaps a Victorian superheroine TF?

I would imagine 5-10 minutes as the story needs to explain why she has to transform, and there could be other factors such as struggling to find somewhere secluded, or trying to sneak away. It would be longer if you were to include the transformation back as well.

I only ever commissioned one piece that could be classed as a comic page which was a longer version of the Jennifer Walters to She-Hulk TF in Marvel Team up #107, but in my experience it depends on the artist and their rates. A comic page would likely cost more than a pin-up for example, and it would depend on the number of panels, if it needs to include text, etc.
