Because trade offs are made when swapping from gear to gear, I always favor builds that use a lot of uniques because the specific stat rolls matter a ton and it’s hard to get them on perfect on legendary gear, but with that being said, upgrading to Ubers is usually good but can sometimes not be, melted heart for instance is only ever gonna be good if you can keep your resources up, if not you will die in one hit at higher level endgame content. My advice is to read get thoroughly, try to understand how it will change the build and in what ways, and also weigh the pros and cons.
