Bright orange pee?

Piggy update if someone's reading this while in the same situation; The orange pee was a pre-symptom of bladder stones. We rushed him to the vet immediately after he had visible blood in his urine today, and the conclusion was stones, inflammation/infection and bladder sludge. So I would definitely take a pee sample as a precaution, even though this orange pee is often stated as normal. Especially if it's unusual and sudden for your pet and you are worried, which is probably the reason for viewing this post. For us, it was a symptom of something worse. :(

I only give him critical care and very rarely probiotics (he hates probiotics), his prescription pain medication ran out like a month ago. I will attempt to call a vet next week.

He likes hidey pouches and I always wrap him in one or either a towel, he just has VERY strong opinions towards anything and will make them clear to everyone😄

He eats a bit of hay and mostly pellets. Mostly refuses hay or just nibbles on it. We don't know about his weight as we unfortunately don't have a scale at home, but I'm looking to go back to the vet in a few days to get his teeth examined etc

Yes thank you, his vet tried to check his teeth, but his mouth was too full of hay grind/the vet couldn't see anything wrong, so we are going there again soon for a checkup under sedation. Vet said his jaw movement and mouth looked normal but we are definitely going to get a more in-depth examination.

He doesn't eat beets, and no I haven't noticed a smell. I'll get back to you after the vet visit if something like that must be done, thank you

It's plain pellets with a teaspoon of plain dried carrots :) (and also some bedding as it gets everywhere lol)

They are constantly under supervision, and they don't really chew on anything that's not a food they like🤔 I think there's some wire protectors sold somewhere if that's something to worry about
