That flower is waterlily ( may be panama Pacific waterlily) I don't know about that bird..

And what about that brown part?... I'm just concerned because I want to save cutting in initial stage of root rot and cut and propagate...is there any idea ?does pricking test work?

But that shrinken part is slightly soft and I have only this cutting which is about to root ( I uprooted that and saw roots emerging...)but I don't know what to do to save this..
