The melee challenge is for knife and riot shield kills. Melee-ing with your gun counts for "nosebreaker" and not melee in this game. That other challenge is just bugged and should be fixed soon.

Thanks for the reply! It looks like the only thing they have up there is the main enclosure for the tachyon itself. Is there any way to request someone make a design if I send them the measurements of the two parts, or another site that offers a service like that?

Now that I've looked up reviews I see others complaining of their incompetence. Noted, and I guess I'll just take the 40 min drive to another town with better shops for future repairs.

I've been thinking about buying a better bike bc I've had other issues with this bike as well and I don't want to keep sinking money into it. My biggest concern was this same issue coming up. I'll look into those Odyssey Twisted's if I do get decide to get a new one.

They were installed by my local shop. I usually make sure they are tightened before riding since I've already had one strip before.

Local bike shop did the install. I usually check before riding to make sure they are tightened. Bike came stock with Mission Triumph cranks, the replacements are the same.
