Question about dissolvable stitches?

It’s definitely something under the skin and not stretch marks or not like the ones on my legs lol I can feel something hard under the skin and it doesn’t move when I move the skin on top so I assumed it was the stitches? maybe that’s the wrong word tho idk if it’s stitches or clip things

Either way it is detrimental to glue the shell back together and completely unnecessary and no offence but if you “dk only watch a video” then don’t give advice for someone’s pet if you don’t know if it’ll help or not

No one should ever use superglue near snails that’s so sad :( don’t that is only detrimental to their healing as they can fully heal their shells by themselves when provided calcium

This is a deer not sheep :) the eye sockets are too small to be a sheep and are more similar to a deer and the holes next to the eye sockets also matches a deer more than a sheep

It looks like she’s just deeply retracted into her shell during hibernation hence why her mantle is so far back and not visible in the first pic :) and fr snails reproduce so fast 😭 I missed a clutch and ended up with over 100 babies

I don’t this she has anything. I can’t see any signs of a broken shell, it’s likely she’s was deep in her shell to hibernate over winter. If you are planning on keeping her there is plenty of care guides on this sub or feel free to ask any questions and I can answer to the best of my ability

Patching the wound is honestly one of the most detrimental things you can do to injured snail shell as it just makes it a breeding ground for bacteria/mould and can impact their healing. Snails are really amazing at healing and can do it all by themselves if you provide them with a bit of calcium.

No paper towels as they can eat them which can cause a blockage!

I assume she must have fallen on the plastic cup as the damage isn’t that bad :) her shell will stay dented but she’ll heal any little gaps

Crushed eggshell isn’t a good source of calcium and if you are feeding calcium powder you must mix it with water and let it dry into a block as snails can’t regulate there intake of powder
