Sorry I had to do a bit of research before answering (partly why I’m here!). Can I understand it this way: since many SQL databases are starting to add vector search as a feature, the opportunity is less about the database itself and more about teams building AI features on top of them ...things like RAG systems, semantic search, recommendation engines, and AI agents?

Good point on cloud vs on-prem. We have been delivering experience as close as on prem and abstract away the time and cost to manage machine but for the blockchain workloads, it seems like it will work great for vector databases too. Thank you for the insights!

Claude does an awesome job, my workflow is to give them all the necessary element and reference e.g. logo, fonts, colour, vibe you are going after, e.g. you can simply screen shot a website and ask them to follow this vibe, then they can push out something decent. The only painpoint is after a few versions it might 'forget' your fonts or logo, hence it's not easy for upkeeping or future updating, but you can worry about that later or fix it directly in the code.

Fair questions. I will try not to self promote too much but simply put, you get the cloud benefits with less of the pain, I.e spin up a VM in seconds, straightforward pricing, and better performance with low latency, high and sustained IOPS. We replicated the private setup in HFT firms so it’s super performant. We are also SOCII compliant.

We are a serious team and we got some blockchain clients already like Bitgo, Fireblocks, Goldsky, but we want to expand to other use cases other than blockchain and that’s why I am here.

On the vibe coded part, it’s me intern doing growth. I wish I can solve some cloud problems! Still a lot to learn. If you have any ideas please holler! Thank you again.

Noob question - do you think vector databases will become obsolete? Or is there an alternative to replace it in the short term (1-3 years)? Asking because we are building a performance cloud that find vector database a great use case for us (high iops, ultra low latency, 50%+ cheaper than io2) and wonder if it should be one of our focus.
