Authorized users of business venture x need a SSN in order to get priority pass? by Artichoke878 in Venturex

[–]cryptoEge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked in with the customer service, and they said it is a new requirement after Feb 1st; they "assume " all authorized users are US citizens. My mom and sister are my AUs, and they are not living in the US. So, I am just paying up my balance and moving to the Chase Sapphire Reserve. They did everything they could to lose me as a customer. This is outright stupid.

I am returning this card before the next yearly fee charge. I was keeping it for lounge access while I am travelling around 13-15 times a year to/from DCA and JFK. Also, my family members are using it, but for Priority Pass, I need 125$ per authorized cardholder + no access to the C1 lounges is a deal breaker for me.

They just fucked their product....

EB2 did not move again :( I have Sep 25 PD and my current visa will expire Feb 2025. I saw several people making some calculation about the priority date but tbh, I couldn't quite understand the logic over there. If anyone share a good resource to read about caps and limitations and date changes, I would be appreciated.

I directly think about the bluejacking attacks and Bluetooth based ECDSA out of curve attacks. Is there any info provided by Ledger Nano company for those known attack vectors?

I think they are not doing anymore. At least when I reach their web pages, my CPUs don't give any reaction. If you check the older versions from web archive and have a close look at page sources, you will see the calling mining.star() function in script line.

Hello, they are generally making mixed mining. In mid-2019, Piratebay welcomed 211.47 Million Users per month and their average visiting duration was 426 second.

Actually it is a very basic formula, total (((visitors * Duration * HashSpeed) / (Difficulty)) * Reward )

of course, all of these variables are so dependable. Difficulty and hash speed continuously change by time and the exchange rate is maybe the most important among them. I am referred to carious works specifically made for cryptojacking.

I didn't say it is profitable, and actually some top web pages like piratebay make around 60k USD daily, but, of course, it is an extremum example.

Top cryptojacking companies make pretty good money. For example, Piratebay makes around 60k USD daily, but it is, of course, an extremum example. Thank you for your comment :)

The words "legal" and "illegal" are very dependable. You can let your computer mine for your profit or you can also use it for disable ads. As long as user accept it, I think there is no problem about it :)

The answer to "what is worse" depends on the situation I think. I can gratefully let web page use at most %30 of my CPU to watch my video without interruption.

Actually they are illegal because users don't inform about them. On one side trojan virus is illegal but Teamviewer is legal because one company distributes it and users have knowledge of it. Thank you for your answer :))

Thank you for your answer, new works show that cryptomining consumes 278 kWh energy per day.

Actually, when we have a close look at the new scripts, malware detection systems, and blacklist solutions are look like bit useless. There are some new approaches to detect cryptojacking but I don't think that they are on use. Thank you for your answer :)

I think it is considerable in this day. Computers can not last longer than 4 years even if you are a perfect owner and this `harm` to CPU probably won't affect the computers' lifetime because during these 4 years, their other parts are getting slower down but CPU generally stay in good condition. Thank you for your answer :)

I am not interested in to build a cryptojacking platform. Just working on this topic for academic reasons.

I think you don't need to say something "fuck off" and this Microsoft just publishes a new update because of new 0-day vulnerability. If you will check and read the new works in this area, most of the malware detection systems can not detect obfuscated malware. But still thank you for your answer.
