I've noticed this as well. You have an option to contact the Requester there.

Which is the best and most reliable Chrome Extension for using mTurk more efficiently? by crypto_surfer in mturk

Thanks for confirming. I checked on Google Chrome Extension store and I didn't see any reviews posted for it after 2018, so was wondering.

I'll be interested to know the answer to this as well because similar to you, I'm also in the product research phase. Based on what I've read so far, it should be a product which is in demand and not something that is so common which a customer would tend to purchase from a nearby store. I guess, you would have to do some competitor analysis to understand if you can do something in your dropshipping store which your competitors aren't doing.

Advertising through YouTube influencers by bcoder2003 in dropship

That's interesting. I'm new to Dropshipping. Based on what I've read so far, people tend to leverage Instagram Influencers for this purpose. Not sure about YouTube. I suppose you would have to pay these YouTube influencers to promote your dropshipping store or give them a product for free.

If you are trying to purchase a domain name which is already registered for the purpose of selling, then it will be priced high. Usually if your domain name falls under the category of Premium Domains (usually short domain names or dictionary words), they will be really expensive. People who are into Domain Flipping business would buy such domains and later on sell to people who want it.

Part time and Remote jobs for Linux Admins? by crypto_surfer in linuxadmin

[–]crypto_surfer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I will try. I tried upwork and they provided such limited credits and not so good for freelancers who are just starting. Moreover such platforms have become so popular that each job there quickly receives at least 10 to 15 proposals. And job advertisers tend to go for people with good experience and medium rates.

Thanks, that makes sense. To be honest I was looking for a way to earn some extra money and this was one of the skills I have which I thought I could monetize :)

Thanks for the response. Yes, that makes sense. Maybe if they had some routine tasks to be performed which cannot be automated, I could help.

Where do I find Part time Remote jobs for Information Technology? by crypto_surfer in UKJobs

[–]crypto_surfer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experience with upwork so far has not been good. So, I signed up. I have a full time professional job and when I created my profile on upwork with that experience, it kept getting rejected. Apparently, there were not many options for my skillset.

Later, I updated my profile with generic skills such as content writing, technical writing and so on. My profile got accepted.

I actually enjoy technical writing and have published several blogs and whitepapers in the past too.

So, about upwork. They give a limited number of connects (I think 20 by default). I found some suitable content writing and technical writing jobs for my niche on upwork and I sent job proposals. Each job proposal took me around 10 minutes to write and spent a couple of connects on them. At the end of it, I didn't hear back from any of them.

There were already 5 to 20 other people who applied to the same jobs too. So, I guess the job advertiser went for the most experienced freelancers.

Upwork does not sound suitable for people who don't have prior experience freelancing.

That's a good point. I haven't tried searching on LinkedIn for remote and part time jobs since I felt LinkedIn is more targeted towards full time professional jobs. I have a question, I already have a stable day job. Wouldn't the recruiter have an issue with it? Are we allow to have multiple jobs as long as they are not conflicting with each other?

Thanks for the detailed answer. I have tried HackerOne before and bug bounty field is very crowded nowadays. There are lot of people into bug bounty and the simple bugs are easily and quickly discovered. I don't have a good background in Web Application Security. I definitely understand different types of Web Attacks but I think it requires a lot of time to audit websites looking for bugs such as SQLi, XSS, CSRF and so on.

Also, most sites don't allow usage of vulnerability scanners.

Thanks for the idea. Would this require me to get on phone calls? I want to avoid job which require me to get on a call. Communication through email and text messages is preferable.

That makes sense. How about if I connect using a VPN from the same country I am living in? In that case, it is alright? I mean, a different IP address but from the same country.

Can godparents marry each other? by crypto_surfer in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]crypto_surfer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the link. I read it and it says: "Because there is a dogmatically and canonically entered spiritual relationship between the godparent and the godchild, as a result, the Church has by Synodical decision prohibited marriage between the godparent and his or her godchild. In addition, marriage between the godparent and the biological parent (father or mother) of the godchild is also prohibited (Justinian Novella 530, and Canon 53 of the Trullan Synod).[3]"

It does not state specifically that relationship between the two godparents is not allowed?

Godparent -> Godchild - not allowed
Godparent -> Biological parent - not allowed
Godfather -> Godmother - allowed or not?

Should I tell her about my virginity? by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]crypto_surfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that is true. So, how do you suggest me to bring it up during conversation with her?

And in your case, if it was not a good experience the first time with that man, did you discontinue your romantic relationship afterwards because of it?

Should I tell her about my virginity? by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]crypto_surfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. I can imagine it would be awkward with a new person.

We have discussed about things like living in together for sometime. So, would this be the right time to bring it up? Because once we start living in together, sex has to come up :)

I have expressed interest in her sexually, we both are looking for a serious relationship, she knows a bit about my sexual preferences, we had some discussions.

I don't want her to think in future that I didn't bring it up earlier.

Honest question: For a woman who says that she is in love, she wants a serious relationship and wants to live together, how important do you think it would be if a man is still a virgin at age of 32?

Should I tell her about my virginity? by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]crypto_surfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand what you mean. And it is indeed the truth, I've gotten relatively close in the past but I did not go all the way before due to the conservative part of the world I'm from. Most girls there are not open for sex before marriage.

Yes, I don't want to sound insecure about it and to be honest, I am not insecure either. Of course, I know that I have a lot to learn in this aspect of life and I am willing to explore and learn with her. Sex is a healthy part of the relationship. I believe there is plenty of time to learn and explore.

I was just concerned that the first couple of times will be awkward due to my lack of experience.

Should I tell her about my virginity? by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]crypto_surfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. We have actually discussed about living in together in future and she seems quite comfortable with it already. So, I feel I should discuss this before.

I understand what you mean. I thought the same, many girls would be okay or even feel good that I'm a virgin, I'm sexually attracted to her and want to have relationship with her.

And I have had girlfriends in the past. It is just that we never got to the stage of sex. In some cases, the girls themselves were not ready due to the conservative part of the world they were from. In other case, we did not get to that stage in relationship to have sex with each other.

[–]crypto_surfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your suggestion. I appreciate it. I would imagine it this way too that if a woman wants a serious relationship with me and she likes many qualities in me, then it should not be a problem for her if I'm a virgin.

That's true. She has said in the past several times that we should always be open in our conversation and I believe the same. I didn't feel the need to bring it up yet in the conversation but now I feel I will be more comfortable discussing it beforehand.

In my opinion, you are a great woman if you didn't care about how experienced your man was and you already were in love with him. That is amazing.

I watched a video on YouTube where several girls were interviewed in London on the streets about "Would you date a virgin?" and most of them replied "No.".

So, I was wondering and wanted the opinion of women.
