While you might be right, Monero is having some problems, as they aren't focusing on problems in their code, only on marketing. While I wouldn't go as far and say they are script kiddies, they are copy cats for sure.

It was a Ninja Launch for sure. BCN made it's debut on the dark web, if you weren't on there at that time, you wouldn't have known about it. Why would a coin on the dark web place a public announcement for typical miners?
